Get ready for the full experience
Bought tickets ahead of time for a Friday night. The arena, which isn’t very big, was about three-quarter full. I probably could have purchased the tickets there . There’s a couple of shops selling Muay Thai gear. Their own brand and venum. Which I had expected to be pretty costly they do have T-shirts for purchase that come to about $22 USD. The ambience in the arena is lively. The audience gets very involved. The music is fantastic and the fighting was great. The fighters are also available to take photos with in the bar area .We really enjoyed ourselves and would definitely return again in the future.

Best thing we did in Thailand!
Entertainment and atmosphere were amazing, music and everything really nailed. Food and drink whenever you want it bought to you. You can just rock up, we thought we were being touted but the guy actually worked there and was really nice. Would recommend the 1800 Baht seats. Fights were very enjoyable too - real sportsmanship and real boxing.

Muay Thai Boxing - Bangkok must visit
This is in my opinion a must see Thai tradition located within Bangkok city. Now, we are not boxing fanatics, and definitely wouldn’t pop out to a boxing event back home but this is different. The venue is set up perfectly for the Thai experience and atmosphere. For that reason alone, this was a good trip. Easy to reach by taxi, do allow enough time to get here, traffic can be crazy. Arriving at the venue is a breeze. Staff are so friendly and helpful on getting you checked in and to your seat. Every seat is a good seat for viewing the traditional Thai boxing and kicking. The VIP lounge will get you a lot of free food (hotdogs or egg noodles) and beer/soft drinks. An upgrade is only worth it here if you intend to eat/drink. Your preference of up close and personal ringside or up and over panoramic will be the seat choice. It’s a 3 to 4 hour event if you stay the full time, some matches get exciting, and the atmosphere is electric. Toilets are clean. Merchandise is available if you are interested, in shops located either side of the main doors. A must and interesting visit to top up on the Thai culture.

    An iconic experience !
We had a great night out at the iconic Rajadamnern stadium in Bangkok to watch the Maui Thai Fights on their home turf. We had bought the tickets at home on line and they were waiting at the box office for us. Straight forward, no problem. The seats in Club class had amazing views of the ring and the D.J. helped to build up the atmosphere for the crowd The fighters were awesome and we had bets amongst ourselves just for fun. There was food and drinks served at our seats and all through the bouts they kept us transfixed with their skill and obvious dedication to their sport. Definitely worth going to see especially in Bangkok. Iain and Carol Patterson. Newcastle upon Tyne.

Not as brutal as I feared 😊
Cool experience. My boys (20 and 16) wanted to go, so we bought tickets on ticketmelon insted of via agencies. We paid 1800 baht per seat. Prices for water, beer etc. are a bit more than local prices. We watched 7 bouts and witnessed 2 fights where the judge stopped the fight. No as brutal as I feared. Where respectful and professional atmosphere.

Before I booked tickets, I contacted the marketing team to ask which night was best and which seats to book, as it was for my Mum's birthday. I am so glad I did because once they found out it was a birthday present, they booked us the most amazing seats, we got to meet the President of the Boxing Stadium and they presented my Mum with a cake and floral arrangement.

We were in Club Class, which was great, as you were at just the right height to see everything. The whole night was packed with action, watching the skill and techniques that the boxers use is just stunning. Definitely the best place to experience Muay Thai!

Myself and my husband watched 19th Augusts bouts. Wow! It was absolutely incredible. We ordered tickets online beforehand which cost us 1800 baht which is a really reasonable price for what you’re watching and for our seats! It was simple and efficient when we got there, we had no issues at all. Went to the desk, got a wristband and a ticket and then were shown to our seats by staff. We sat in section 9 row B and we had an excellent view. I didn’t go down to the ringside seats but I feel like we couldn’t have got a better view elsewhere in the stadium as ringside are quite low down. From where we sat we were able to see everything.

We watched 6 incredible fights. 2 female fights which were awesome and then the 2 final 4 fights.

We did watch two children fighting (one was a very very young looking 15 year old) which I wasn’t overly keen on but that’s just personal preference and probably me just being too sensitive haha! I watched through my hands but they were fantastic young talent.

Beer was free and flowing all night which was awesome, the staff were amazing at bringing cups round. Lots of other food and drink available to be purchased too.

For our visit, it was predominantly tourists. We saw hardly any locals in the crowd. We didn’t get to see any KOs but that didn’t matter too much as all of the fights were really entertaining to watch. We particularly loved Nuenglanlek who had such good energy.

Honestly the night was amazing, the crowd was electric. I cannot recommend this enough. If you are in Bangkok you HAVE to come and visit!

To note: there is no dress code, some people were in vests and shorts, others in dresses and heels. I only mention this because I scoured the internet before trying to find out if there was one so hopefully this may help someone else!

Really good quality fights for a Thursday night with high production values and not too much time between fights. Decent drinks prices for a stadium. Would recommend as a good introduction to the sport.

What a fabulous place to visit whilst in Bangkok. We bought tickets online before visiting but unless it is a special occasion you can probably buy your tickets on the day/night. The atmosphere was electric. The announcements were in Thai and English. I loved the pre fight rituals and traditional music that accompanied the fights. The fights were brilliant to watch. I would thoroughly recommend. We went with two teenagers who also loved it. Note that the doors open at 7.00 and the fights start quite quickly and the evening ends around 9.00, you get to see around 7/8 fights, so give you self plenty of time to get there and get inside.

Great night out seeing an iconic part of Thai culture. Went on a Wednesday night when I had nothing else going on. Buying a ticket online was easy, and it looked like buying tickets at the gate was easy as well. The staff are attentive and friendly. Drinks and food are well priced. The fighters are aggressive and the locals really get into the matches which makes for a great atmosphere. Rajadamnern is a great place to see Muay Thai and I definitely recommend going.

I arrived at BKK airport on Saturday. On my way into Bangkok, I saw a billboard for Rajadamnern stadium. I went on line and it saw they had a fight on Saturday.
I arrived at the stadium and bought a ring side seat. This was my first time I had been to a muy thai fight, so i was not sure what to expect. The inside of the stadium is magnificent, it look like something you would see on HBO or pay per view fight. No matter where you sit, you will get a good view of the fight.
SinceIi was ringside, I had a great view of the action. The fight were all good, non stop action. During one of the fights, a fighter knocked out an opponent with a flying knee and I jumped out of my set. All the fight were good, even the very last fight with the young ladies. I had a great time and the staff there were very nice. At one point I asked where do i buy water and the lady usher walked me to the beverage counter.
If your ever in Bangkok you need to go see a fight at this stadium.

Enjoyed the experience.

Had ring side seats.

Bouts split into 2 parts with 4 bouts per part. Each bout lasts 25 mins (3 mins rounds plus 2 mins rests…x 5 rounds)

Only drawback is that they only serve sell beer after 7pm… which is about the 2nd match into part 2.

Full of tourists! We bought seats for 1800 baht but to be honest, the 1500baht seats would have been OK. Stadium wasn't full. Fighting was too brutal for us, we left early, think it was a combination of one set of very young fighters and the disturbing amount of blood thirsty tourists! Totally disagree with the extortionate inflated prices for tourists too! Toilets and food available. Probably glad we went but couldn't stay the duration
