Ni-Ang Ice Cream Egg Hard, located at Talat Phlu, is a popular shop for local people because of its variety of menu options. Plus the taste is delicious and inexpensive. shop open everyday will start to open in the evening and there will be a lot of people If you go late, you have to wait in line to eat hard-boiled egg ice cream. It's super delicious. You must try it once in your life.

70 years ago when Thailand was under the Japanese occupation, Bangkok was under the Allied bombing, part of the Chinese community that lived in Chinatown moved away from city center to Talad Plu area. Getting to Talad Plu is quite easy by car or by Talad Plu BTS Station. Some of the wooden houses in the area specially around the TALAD Plu Train Station still remain. The community living and socializing is very interesting to observe. Scattered throughout, there are many food stalls that sell various roadside food that are difficult to find around Bangkok nowadays. Spend some time in the late afternoon around the area can be quite a eye opener.

Today, it is easy to go to Talad Plu Market. Just take BTS sky train to Wutthakrd Station and take Taxi with approximate 35-50 Bht. to the Market.

We were there in the evening and really liked the choice of restaurants offering all kind of foods, i.e. japanese, chinese or thai. Some restaurants are very close to the rail lines which is really exciting when the train passes through.
