Yes there are thousands of stalls but you soon realise that it is the same 100 stalls repeated a 100 times. Not much scope for haggling when we visited either

Definitely viable for floating market The flea market is large and has extensive walking but depending on age of children well worth the trip Would recommend staying away from the animal section
