Mac (our guide and teacher) was so kind and helpful! We booked for the full day course but unfortunately on our way I was sick, Mac was lovely, gave me a bottle of water, took us back to our hotel and said for me to get better and he will pick us up again the next day at the same... More

Honestly one of the best things I've done in Thailand. The whole experience is fantastic from the market tour to the train journey and cycle around the village and of course the cooking. The man who took the class was lovely and spoke fantastic English. I was having some stomach issues and disappeared of while we were eating and came... More

I wasn't sure what to expect from this but I loved it! There was only a friend and I so we had a little private cooking class from 530-800pm. We cooked 3 meals and a desert. We stopped at the market first and picked up ingredients. Our host was amazing and answered all of our questions. I also learned a... More

Today we followed the cooking course at the Smart cook Thai cookery! We had a wonderfull time. First we went to the market to buy the food. And we learned here a lot about the product which we were going to use. After that we went to the lovely school. We cooked and ate for like 5 hours. It was... More

Getting to and from the school took a while as their was a lot of hanging around which made us unsure about how the day would pan out. However, The day was awesome, we were taught to cook so many tasty Thai dishes and our teacher was lovely albeit slightly bossy. It didn't feel rushed and added touches like getting... More

Paid 1100 tbh (reg price was 1200) for a full day at the farm. After talking with people who did the half day (for 900tbh) I think a full day was well worth it. The half day did not get to cook mango and sticky rice (they were just served it) even though it seemed like they would in the... More

Half an hour late to pick us up at our hotel. Once we got there, the school was well organized. The instructor was very nice & patient. The facility was clean & staffs were very efficient. Everything went well until time to leave. We waited an hour and half to take us back to the hotel. We were supposed to... More

We enjoyed cooking the 6 dishes. The teachers were very friendly and kitchen clean. However we were picked up 30 mins late to goto the class and had to wait 1.5 hours after class for transport to arrive to drive us back to our hotel. We got back to Chiangmai 2 hours after course was done.

We booked the cooking class on the farm and enjoyed it very much! Mac is a very friendly guy and good teacher. He answered every question about the herbs and spices and we learned a lot about preparing Thai food properly. There will definitely be a lot more Thai cuisine on our daily menu in the future! The bike for... More
