This bar was fine when it was operating but it has been closed for business for many months now and should be removed from Trip Advisor.

This bar was a gem of a find. It's tucked away on a soi behind the Night Bazaar (we only found it because it was near our hotel and we walked past it) but it's well worth making the effort to find it. The music...More

Thanks for the great review. Yes, we're all about good music, good food and a good vibe. The mossies are courtesy of Mother Nature, which we can't do much about, but at least they're having a good time as well :-)

Unfortunately we were there too early for any bands which was a real shame. We ordered a couple of pizzas though. They took over half an hour to arrive (the place only had one other couple there) and once they did were so very disappointing....More

Thanks for the feedback and sorry you didn't enjoy the pizza. I can assure you that everything is made on-site, base and sauce; we definitely don't use frozen shop-bought bases. Our pizzas do take a little longer to make, but you would've seen the staff...More

Fantastic music! They have blues a few times each week, filled out with acoustic, jazz, whatever, on the other nights. The bar is set up to enjoy the music, so no stupid TV's showing football or annoying girls hassling you for drinks. Great pizza and...More

Thanks for the kind words. Yes, we're definitely all about the music and everything is geared towards that. My first love is the blues but we try to have a mix of different styles, just to keep things interesting. There are so many good musicians...More

My wife and I had dinner here one night while craving pizza. The pizza was delicious and filling. There was no live music - it was still quite early - but they did have something on that was really cool. The atmosphere and look of...More

I have visited this bar every time I have come to Chiang Mai and it's been wonderful every time. I can say, without a doubt, it's fast becoming one of Chiang Mai's must-visit places. There are some other bars that have good music but they...More

Thanks for the kind words. We've worked hard getting the pizza as good as it is, so we're stoked that so many people are raving about it. Supporting the local music scene is a very important part of what we do, and we appreciate that...More

Thanks for the great review, and so much for staying incognito :-) Yes, we're at the quiet end of the street but that's not necessarily a bad thing. People come to the bar because they know it's there, because they want to be there and...More

This place is probably the best overall for music in Chiang Mai. They have a lot of different stuff on, so it's important to check their web site to find out what's on. http://thebearbar.com It's a mixed bag of jazz, blues, latin, folk, acoustic, but...More

Thanks for the great review. We're trying to build a venue with an emphasis on quality music, so it's cool you're getting into it so much. We tell the musicians that we're not too fussed about what they play, as long as it's good :-)
