Run by Sai (Lahu hilltribe) and Blake (Canadian) this relaxed little bamboo bar is a great place to chill out and talk with travelers, local Farang and Thais. As the reviews show, we play a wide mix of tasteful music that you aren't likely to hear anywhere else. Also, you won't get the typical hassles here associated with many bars. We are happy to give you info on traveling in the region, and especially motorcycling! We've been running the Lost Hut since 2005 and know how to look after people.

Came here with my friend who lives here - friendly staff, cold drinks and decent 🎶 Bit of an ex-pat hangout but that's not a bad thing

The live music was fantastic. Staff were friendly and full of ideas for us to do and full of things not to do to avoid trouble. Down to earth and a great mixture of expat and locals ensured a quick beer turned into a night of entertainment that didn't leave us with a hole in our wallets.

Great atmosphere and people. If you want to chill out, hear some great tunes and mingle with the locals, this place is for you. As travelers, we met new people here and learned a lot from them.

Definitely not recommend. I went based upon the great reviews online. What I found was a small depressing hole in the wall filled with unfriendly expats. The service was okay, but the drink I ordered was tiny in comparison to other bars and overpriced.

We got there pretty early and were the only people there but decided to have a drink anyway. The two people working there were very friendly and talked to us about chiang Mai and things to do. Very nice people, cheap drinks.

We just wandered past the lost hit on our way to Dash around the corner. Very good little bar, cheap, good service and the owners and staff engaging and helpful. The kids had a photo to go on 'the wall' which was a nice touch. Certainly not a bar to plan your evening around or to stay in all night... More

You couldn't meet a nicer couple than the two who run this place. They were among the first people who welcomed us in Chiang Mai and we realised we were in a good place with good people.
