Cwrtainlt this temple isn't big or spectacular, but its ancient wooden shrine hall is really unique. The gateway is quite splendid too. If you're in the old city certainly stop by.

In between the quick-stop Three Kings Monument and the amazing Wat Chedi Luang, why NOT visit the old wooden Wat Pan Tao and see a slice of history?

This is an old teak Wat with nice grounds. They were working on the Chedi when I visited, there was bamboo laying everywhere! Still a pleasant stop.

For some strange reason, this is one of my favorite temples in CM. It is not that huge, but really well maintained, with a lot of details and colors everywhere. A small lake with reflections of trees and Buddha statue, red bells, a great Chedi...More

This temple is a classic teak wood construction especially its roof structure. From the exterior, the woodworking is simple yet representative of the region. The interior, is the basic structure of teak wood vertical columns supporting the pitched roof.
