We have ben back twice to enjoy Yui's no nonsense classes. Her depth of knowledge always surprises us. She was choose by Chef Ramsey as her guide for his Northern Thailand show and has consulted in Thai restaurant openings in Hong Kong, Dubai, Rio de...More
This class was awesome! Chef Yui is a great chef and such an interesting person. We started comparing her Pad Thai to the ones we subsequently ate in highly rated restaurants. Hands down the ones we made in her class were better!
A friend of mine did this cooking class and recommended it to me, and it ended up being the best thing my mom and I did in Chiang Mai! We were picked up and brought to her home, where Yui taught us how to make...More
We chose Yui's class due to her excellent rating and affiliation with Gordon Ramsay. What we got ended up being the jewel of our trip to Thailand. Yui is sharp, insightful and has an understanding of food science well beyond what many professional chefs possess....More
What a beautiful family experience. We were there with another family, our girls are 14, it was the highlight of their trip! She really engaged us all at our different levels of cooking. She has a great sense of humor too. I highly recommend it...More
We ended up changing some of our travel plans at the last minute, and needed to book a cooking class the week we were visiting Chiang Mai. Our friend highly recommended this class, and we were so lucky to get two spots! Yui is fantastic....More
Yui is an absolute delight. Witty, intelligent and engaging. I’ve never met someone so passionate about anything as she is about food. We learned so much about Thai food and culture. This was certainly our favorite food experience anywhere in the world. The food was...More

We spent a morning with Yui in her cookery school - only three in the class, so we had fantastic personalised instruction. The big benefit was in understanding the prep techniques; and knowing how to combine a wide range of flavours. We made three dishes...More
TA won't let me post the email address I used but I imagine it's the same one that's on the website. I wonder if Yui's out of town or something. It's worth being persistent if you have the time. It's a fabulous class!
Yui is very accommodating to different needs. As the others have said I would email and ask for for specifics such as having most of the ingredients precut if you want for the younger ones (most of the ingredients are... More
Yui is very accommodating to different needs. As the others have said I would email and ask for for specifics such as having most of the ingredients precut if you want for the younger ones (most of the ingredients are already, not much cutting neccessary). I think the half day would be a good length to keep the kids attention. You watch Yui demonstrate the dish then go to your station where everything is waiting and prepare yourself with her watching over. Then everyone goes to the table to eat. And repeat for each meal. So you do get breaks from the actual cooking. If it helps the kids focus you could have them write down the steps in notebooks while she is demonstrating. I forgot most steps as soon as it was my turn to cook and wish I had written notes like some people in my class. Tons of fun!
