It was really neat to see the elephants and interact with them, and it did seem like they were well treated. I was expecting more information about the elephants, elephant behavior, etc. and there wasn't any other than their names and ages. The drive to...More

We did a lot of research before booking with elephant jungle sanctuary and are pleased to say that nothing we saw suggested the elephants were unhappy or mistreated in any way. Ya Ya (sp?) our guide was very knowledgable and we enjoyed her dry sense...More

I agree with the reviews that say they felt conflicted during this experience. Maybe I was expecting too much, but I didn’t feel like I learnt anything about elephants or that the elephants were enjoying the interaction. It just seemed like an endless stream of...More

I absolutely loved this place. My host was Tom who was funny, charismatic, and knowledgeable about any questions you asked about the elephants or Thai culture. The elephants are simply amazing creatures to spend time with. I paid 2,400 baht for the full day. WHY...More

My girlfriend and I went to the full day visit and it was amazing. The opportunity to spend lots of time up close and personal feeding and touching the elephants was great, and also going in the mud bath then the river. I see people...More

Such an amazing experience, While we had concerns over potential abuse of the elephants, we saw nothing to indicate they treat the elephants poorly. If anything they were unusually forgiving of the baby elephants antics.

It was so worth the money! We went as part of a tour that included making paper out of elephant poop, elephant feeding, bathing and bareback riding.

Apologies, the cost per person I quoted earlier was for our cooking class! For our Elephant Jungle Sanctuary, the cost was US$ 53 or THB 1,700 per person. There may be cheaper tours, but we definitely enjoyed this one.
