Very beautiful Chinese temple with lots of figures, vases and furniture. The entrance fee of 50 THB is well worth it. Inside the temple you can go upstairs. At the bottom you take your shoes off. At the top when you go outside there are flip flops and parasols available for free. The visit was worth it.

The complex was built in 1987 and is regarded as fine examples of Chinese art and architecture. It includes a three storey central building and various pavilions. We were privileged to be able to view so many priceless artefacts and antiques, pottery and statues of Shaolin monks. The external areas are also worth taking some time to see various figures of Chinese Mythology, lions and some more contemporary sculptures.

Anek Kusala Sala or colloquially, Viharn Sien is a museum of Chinese art, mainly statues of Chinese deities. In the courtyard, there are several fascinating sculptures, especially the 8m long scene depicting the Eight Immortals in Taoism, and an ensemble of four statues of the Laughing Buddha.
The main building is built in Chinese style. Inside, there is a large section dedicated to the biography of Sa-nga Kulkobkiat, a Chinese Taoist (I think) who owned the collection and funded the construction. The collections on display fill the entire space of the building which also happens to function as a Chinese Shrine. Amongst all these fine art are Terracotta Warriors donated by China and includes statues of warriors, generals and cavalry. Other really fascinating statues include every form of Shaolin Kung Fu.
An awesome place to visit, especially if combined with Khao Chi Chan Buddha.

A hidden gem just outside of Pattaya, Viharn Sien (also known as Viharnra Sien or Anek Kusala sala) is often overlooked by tourists. We had it all to ourselves majority of the time. A very few people visited apart from us on the day we were there.Viharn Sien is a museum hosted in the former temple that houses an impressive collection of Chinese arts and various artefacts. The main hall is a replica of the Hall of Mental Cultivation in Beijing’s Forbidden City and houses a stunning collection of porcelain and bronze sculptures. One of the most impressive exhibits in the museum is the collection of over 300 terracotta warrior replicas and horses, which are arranged in rows just like the actual terracotta warriors in China. There are three floors to visit and plenty of rooms with a lot to take in (but the interiors are kept pleasantly cool so it is really nice to wonder around). Also, do not skip the exterior around the museum. Some of the sculptures of mythological characters are even more incredible than Marvel’s heroes.

This is probably the biggest collection of Chinese treasures outside China that I have seen. It makes a welcome diversion from other Pattaya attractions. It is a bit out of town so make the transport arrangements accordingly. Plan at least two hours here. My only complaint is that while there were many impressive statues outside, it was too hot to take pictures without some kind of shade.

Our private taxi driver recommended this place to us. At first, we thought it was just another normal Chinese temple. However, we immediately changed our perceptions when we entered it. There were many well crafted statues and valuable historical artifacts inside the huge building. The admission fee was just 50 baht, really worth a visit.

My favourite part of the experience - a difficult question to answer as there is just so much to see inside or outside. The quality of the statuary is outstanding and its great to see clear information in English on the various exhibits. Two things do stand out: the group bronze outside the main temple (the eight immortals crossing the ocean)and then of course some of the original terra cotta warriors. A few of the copies have been made showing the original colouring as well. Saves a trip to Bejing and you can get really close up as well.
And its free of charge, but well worth a small donation.
To save confusion the temple is also known as Anek Kusala Sala

Not far from Pattaya and well worth a visit. Set out over 3 floors with lots of different exhibits. He's of which are the only terracotta warriors and two chariots on permanent display outside of China. English explanations on many of the displays. Fantastic views of the surrounding countryside including the carved Buddha on the hillside. Can easily spend a couple of hours here.

No trip to Pattaya is complete without a visit here. About 20 minutes south of town and just off the main SUKUMVIT Road, this museum is an amazing compilation of Thai and Chinese culture and religion. Almost too much to absorb in one visit.

It was raining cats and dogs suddenly after our visit to Buddha Mountain.
From Buddha Mountain it's a 15 mins drive.
Our Taxi Driver, Mr Zon, whom had been our driver to different attractions in Pattaya loaned us his umbrellas. But we were totally drenched!
It was totally worthwhile! The Temple was a Museum with different deities, rich with Chinese cultural values.
Terracotta found in Emperor Qing Shi Huang's tomb were also given by China, exhibiting here.
