The entire temple is made form wood and the architecture is simply breathtaking. This temple is under restoration since it was build, because of the bugs and weather. I recomand the guided tour.

This is a truly wonderful place to visit. We walked 10minutes up the road from our hotel(Southern Star Resort ).The temple was built for the poorer people. It is made entirely of wood and is magnificently carved. The guide explained every thing about the temple...More

We caught a taxi to the Sanctuary - it's north of Pattaya Beach and quite a long way. Haggled with the driver and asked him to wait for us, which he didn't! It's a rip-off, in my humble opinion, for Thailand at 500 baht to...More

Unfortunately I didn't join a tour, kind of wished I had. I just walked around solo and it was mesmerizing, I didn't partake in any of the elephant or horse riding and just walking through the sanctuary was worth the 500baht but if I were...More

Simply magnificent, could not believe my eyes when I saw this place! The wood carvings are just breathless as is the whole Sanctuary and to watch the people working on new carvings to refurbish the old was awesome!

Pleasent to see a mega wood structure based on Indian mythology outside India. Its wooden architecture reminds the mega jain temples of Ranakpur and Dilwara.Precisely crafted. And location on the sea adds the ultimate charisma. Must visit place..

Come here if you want to see some art sculptures made out of wood in the heat. But for me, it wasn't of my taste as I would rather spend my time elsewhere. Furthermore, you have to walk for 15 mins on dirt roads leading...More

You can catch a baht bus along Nukla road and then catch a motorcycle taxi or walk.
I purchased two tickets on line on 21 February 2017, the money has been taken out of my account but I have not received the tickets by email. Despite numerous emails I have sent on the contact details on the official website I have received no response. We are flying to Thailand in 3 days and I wanted this resolved. Thank you.
