We had no option since we went with an arranged tour. It's basically a botanical garden. You can visit it if you have a day extra and have nothing to do. If you have to go to Pattaya (please don't), then go here. It's a strange, cultural experience as a westerner. You do see abused elephants that you can feed bananas to (if you've ever wanted to see a baby elephant dressed as Santa, here's your chance!). Nong Nooch tropical garden is located near Pattaya. It has a huge garden with different hedge animals and artifacts. Restaurant serves Indian food and is ok. Elephant show is the main attraction. Go early and avoid the rush.

At first I thought there won't be much thinking it will be only a botanical garden. But when we went for the shows I was amazed.At first there is a cultural show which showcased their cultural dances and king's history. After that there is an elephant show. You need to spend min 2 hours here, got many garden to visit and they have cultural and elephant show. The car garden was stunning.
