This beach is nice and quit at this time of year. It is very long and you can have some nice walk and running trips. The view is good.

Great ages for having fun in late afternoon, for people of all ages. Be ready to be knocked over! Good local restaurants and stalls all over, much cheaper than the upmarket hotels where we stayed in locally.

One of the best beaches on Phuket if you want beautiful expanse of beach with little to distract. Sand ranges from soft and fine through to quite coarse and the water can be quite dangerous to swim in so take note of the flags and marked areas for swimming - do not go out too far. Some restaurants and bars... More

Beautiful clean beach with clearly marked swimming areas. The beach has various jet skis and boats as well as tourists, however it is not crowded. During the day there are sun beds set up along the beach, which you can use for around 100 baht. At night the beach transforms, with tables set up for you to drink and eat... More

Very clean and sandy beach situated in the North West of Phuket. The sea is very clean and crystal clear. No sun loungers are allowed on the sand, although you can use your own towel or blow up beach lounger. There are a few sellers that walk along everyday - they are very friendly and not too pushy. The beach... More

We travelled here at the New Year to escape the hustle and bustle of Patong Beach. It is much quieter and is the white beach that you expect when travelling to Thailand. Eating and catching a taxi back was also easy. Lovely day apart from the rain......

Bang Tao has 8 kms. of pristine golden sand and clear aquamarine warm water that you could swim in for hours. You won't need water shoes here as the sand goes out into the sea for miles. The waves are fun, not huge for surfing but strong enough to bounce you around like a toy boat if you are not... More
