I greatly enjoyed my visit Wat Phra Thong. Its easy and fast to get there from any place in Phuket island and absolutely worth the trip. Take your time to read the legends about the Phra Thong statue.

Great place to visit, quieter than the other temples we visited, but it was raining! We weren't there long, but it was lovely. Peaceful and beautiful. We thought it was worth the visit.

Phra Thong temple is less touristy and less crowded. Half-buried Buddha is very impressive. Peaceful place to spend your weekend.

Wat Prathong is about 20 kilometers north of Phuket Town, this Temple might not be as spectacular as Wat Chalong but it has a fantastic story and is an extremely important temple in Phuket, it is also empty of tourists. Inside the Temple is the...More

Some wats don't have the same publicity swirling around them than others. This can be a great thing when you want an uncrowded place to breathe and reflect on the beauty and curiosity that some of these other wats can provide. The surrounding grounds are...More
