In its heyday, Dalat Station boasted three arrivals and departures daily. The French built the railway station itself, while the zigzagging tracks were planned and implemented by the Swedish, experts in tricky terrain.

Not interested ! Train is quite good but sightseeing has not much as expectations. I feel unlikely to visit this place

I was expecting the building itself to be far more beautiful than it was. It's worth a visit and the 30 minute train ride out of the city is fun and the pagoda at the end is beautiful!

Beautiful preserved old station. Nice to walk around. We can even enjoy a drink in one if the old carriages.

It's an old plain boring railway station with a few people selling stuff. It costs a little to get through the gate and a little to park your motorcycle but it still is not worth the bother. Wash your hair instead. Or get a haircut.

The historic train station is a lovely place to visit in Da Lat. Because Da Lat doesn't get many foreign tourists there are no English signs or guides, which is too bad as we wanted to know a bit more about the place and the...More

Such a shame this station has been taken out of service but a fantastic bit of history. Our guide filled us in on the back story and really not surprising that people didn't want to use trains after the Vietnam War for fear of land...More

Heritage rail station for mountain rail. It like old Swiss design building but needs maintenance. It should be the same w locomotive and compartments. Too cheap entry ticket just 20 cents per adult. Worth to visit

Part French, part Vietnamese, we enjoyed our visit and stopped for lovely Dalat coffee in one of the railway carriages. It was very quiet here, but had a strong 'feeling' of what it would have been like when it was in full use. There were...More
