In its heyday, Dalat Station boasted three arrivals and departures daily. The French built the railway station itself, while the zigzagging tracks were planned and implemented by the Swedish, experts in tricky terrain.

The old architecture and the old trains are worth seeing. It will be about 40,000 dong by taxi from city centre. Unfortunately there weren’t enough people to ride the train (need minimum 20 people) hence missed out on that. The old train engines are really...More

The railway station itself is not really an attraction of note, but there are some vintage train carriages that seem to please people looking for photo opportunities. We were lucky to have a train departure that afternoon. We took a return trip on the toy...More

It's great to see an old railway station used as a tourist venue. Nice to see some of the carriages turned into a little coffee shop to sit down in. Well worth seeing.

Nice place to take a look at the building and old train. Not spectacular enough for a detour though, but visit when you're close.

The railway station is nice enough, but taking the short ride to Tri Mat and back is great! It's well worth the couple hours for the round-trip, especially if you follow the other passengers to the pagoda and wander around it before returning to Dalat...More

Train ride to Temple complex is sooo cool. Please check before hand if the train actually goes because it requiers at least 20 guests. You get a bottle of water and all. We loved it!
