Overview
More
Bai Tu Long Bay is the name of an area located in the east of Halong Bay Vietnam. Although it shares many similar geological characters with Halong Bay, Bai Tu Long Bay is considered as off the beaten tourist track with many deserted and pristine beaches, no less impressive karst mountains. The Bay has a rich biodiversity with two ecosystems: a tropical, moist, evergreen rainforest ecosystem; and a marine and coastal ecosystem. The area has scarcely seen any tourist development. A large number of guests, through online research, wish to visit the Bai Tu Long Bay because it is much less crowded than Halong Bay. The only disadvantage is that it does not have many grottos. The nearest place for a visit (Vung Vieng Fishing village) is at around 20 km from tourist port.

Bai Tu Long Bay is less crowded than Halong Bay, and equally beautiful. The boats that come here can drop you off in the harbor at Halong City, which is a great little town with a cool theme park!

500 boats in Ha Long Bay, just 50 in Bai Tu Long Bay. You may see three other boats at an anchorage, none en route. It’s the better experience. Caves to explore, a beach side feast, quiet majesty of nature. Go.

Halong bay becomes over crowded, this is the place to be. though we didn't see blue sky as in picture. Felt like it's all under smog. Vietnam need to act on their pollution now before it's too late. Too many motorbikes, pretty much everywhere we...More

Would highly recommend visiting this part of the bay (Bai Tu Long). Very few other boats, and superb scenery made this a special trip.

Our cruise with White Dolphin to Bai Tu Long Bay was fantastic. We had a small tour size (around 10) and an experienced guide, Nam. He and his crew made an effort to time activities such as the caves and kayaking to avoid crowds so...More
