Our guide suggested we visit as soon as it opened after lunch and before the bus loads of tourists arrived. We did and our visit was really peaceful. Very tranquil walking round the grounds and seeing his old and new homes (Outside views) - where...More

The stilt house was located in the same compound as the Ho Chi Minh Palace Palace but was more accessible. It also was the only building not painted yellow. On the ground floor there was a large meeting area that was completely visible on all...More

Stilt house is a very modest but elegant abode set in a peaceful and beautiful gardens and pond. This humble and traditional house where Ho Chi Minh lived and worked, illustrated the importance of simplicity and modesty. Preserved as Ho left it.

Although you can only view the house from a platform built next to the house, it makes perfect sense considering the dimensions of the house and the number of daily visitors. The experience was a bit less enjoyable due to the massive groups of shouting...More

This modest but elegant abode set in peaceful , beautiful gardens is worth a visit when you are visiting Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum. Although the wooden house is quite simple, the proportions and architecture makes it quite beautiful .

Really enjoyed seeing the simple surroundings where Ho Chi Minh lived and worked for a time. There’s a serene feel to the whole area.

Hard to imagine that Ho Chi Minh spent more time here than in the palace right next to it. There’s no luxury in the house as that’s not what the president wanted for himself, but it’s very peaceful to see and it probably also was...More

Not huge amounts to see in Hanoi but the people are proud of their old leader and it is interesting to see his humble abode devoid of any luxury even a bathroom! In lovely grounds and worth a visit

After visiting Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum our host took us to a house of President Ho Chi Minh. To speak the truth I was amazed to see a modest wooden house on stilt asking to myself is that a residence of President Ho? Such a...More
