My colleague and I went to Halong Bay for 2 days 1 night with this cruise- the second time in Halong Bay. The cruise has 9 cabins. We stayed on the 2nd floor with small balcony. The cabin was not too big but it was quite nice. The service and meals were good. We enjoyed it.

My husband and I went on an overnight cruise of Halong Bay on Poseidon Sail. The cruise was for his birthday and before we even arrived, they were SO helpful and nice in helping me make the cruise special for him. They made us a cake, gave us a bottle of wine, and a rose, all free of charge. Then,... More

At first sight, the Poseidon looked like a leaky old little vessel which did not inspire too much confidence: on board, the rooms were small but clean and comfortable; the crew was friendly, too informal in their non-uniforms. The food was non-describable, mix Western/Vietnamese cooking which did not amount to anything. Fortunately, our group spent only one night on board... More

The Poseidon is a smaller ship but that's part of the appeal. It could use a fresh coat of paint on th exterior but the rooms themselves were nicer than any other of the hostels I stayed in in Southeast Asia. The crew were very friendly and helpful. I loved that the ship was smaller and you didn't feel like... More

We arrived in Hanoi early in the morning then there's a bus who took us to Ha Long harbor. We booked for 3 (three) days and 2 (two) nights. It was enough for us to stay because our activities are only visited Surprise Cave, watching the Ha Long scenery, swimming and kayaking. Our boat was standard clean, the cabin too.... More

We were collected from our hotel and rode in a minibus to halong bay (3.5 hours) with toilet stop. Guides were good and gave lots of info on way there. Our boat, Poseidon, was fairly standard, the cabins clean and tide, good showers. Highlights: Our guide, Quy - just great! Surprise caves Amazing scenery Service on boat Not so great:... More

I joined the tour on early December with my friend. It was easy to book as well, just send them an email and pick up and drop off transportation from Hanoi could be arranged. 3 days 2 nights is enough to spend days in Halong Bay, nothing much to do, besides kayaking, enjoy scenery and fishing at night. We meet... More

I apologise for the lengthy review, after trying to find a suitable Junk tour ourselves I know the reviews are varied so hopefully this will be helpful for most. Our tour guide Hung picked us up on time from our hotel on the morning of the tour. The bus we had to take to Ha Long was a mini bus,... More

After hearing a few horror stories of over night trips to Halong bay we were apprehensive of how this trip would turn out and all I can say is...wow! Everything from the room standard/cleanliness, service, food (top class, tasty food about 5-6 courses per meal, the chef did an amazing job), activities and the staff was all outstanding. The one... This is a difficult review to post. I have such positive memories of Ha Long Bay, but I can't judge the tour by the splendor that it progressed through. We were picked up at our hotel in a very nice bus. The guide, Qua (sp?) was personable and spoke English well. The bus rolled along and stopped at the mandatory... More
