Getting more expensive by the day but still the best

My wife and I shot down to have the Paris Mai. Still some of the best coffee in the world. You can shoot across to buy it at a staggering 1,550,000 VND per kilo but this is some... read more

Mai Coffee. Yes, it was one of famous coffees in Vietnam. First impression with me was smell of coffee. It is very excellent… I think it is one of the best coffee shop in Vietnam! Highest quality of beans, special coffee roasting, unusual design – Must have!

First impression was smell of coffee, very good, but of course I know that they mixed coffee with other flavors. The taste was not excellent but acceptable. Only one thing I really don't like is price, much more expensive than other coffee shops, absolutely cause of its name.

During my visite to Hanoi I have taken many kind of coffees from this brand. Excellent quality. Before coming back home I have bought in my opinion one of the best presents from Vietnam. This coffee and also the vietnamese coffee maker. Don't forget to see the pictures in this coffee shop.

My wife and I shot down to have the Paris Mai. Still some of the best coffee in the world. You can shoot across to buy it at a staggering 1,550,000 VND per kilo but this is some of the best coffee you will ever drink. We took down 1/2 a kilo for a special occasion.

I came here for the weasel poo coffee as I read that Cafe Mai sold genuine stuff, it cost 90,000 dong. The coffee itself was actually pretty tasty but the building was a bit disappointing. It was quite run down and need of a good clean and refurbishment.

I had heard rumors that people around here drink coffee that has been passed through the digestive track of a weasel. And me, loving coffee as much I do, thought I had to try this. But, being in Vietnam, there isn't much regulation when it comes to doing business. So, there are all types of people selling weasel coffee, but... More

Good coffee, but nothing extraordinary - like most places in Vietnam. No reason to go out of your way for this....

I'm not a coffee fan, as I keep telling everyone. I am a huge tea fan. The only coffee I drink or make at home is instant nescafe - with lotsa condense milk and milk. I also add a healthy dose of hazelnut syrup, or amaretto, whipped cream, cinnamon/nutmeg and sometimes, a dash of paprika. Yes, my very own Starbucks.... More
