Though not quite the same since a devastating fire in 1994, this famous market is nevertheless a landmark trading post.

After reading the reviews below I changed my plans and decided not to visit the market but by chance we ended up in its territory yesterday so we decided to take a look. I'm glad we did. A busy and bustling place filled to the...More

A famous market in Hanoi. But one thing became apparent. Practically every stall within stone throw is selling similar products. If one expects the market to have similarity with Bangkok's Chatuchak...then be prepared to be sorely disappointed. The walkways are narrow, stalls cramped with mountains...More

A great variety of products available on sale. The night market is open from Friday through Sunday weekly. Things sold include: clothing, gift cards, shoes etc. Remember that the sellers often quote you a price higher than they expect to get; that is, they ask...More

We had a great visit here - when we visited it seemingly is a market without the constant harassment of shop owners that other markets have, definitely worth a visit.

Very busy market. Not the friendliest vendors. I did bargain for a couple of things. Got a better price than from the street vendor shops. Very crowded so you have to really watch your purses etc.

The market was good to see and a lot of items on sale. Fresh food, spices, live animals/reptiles, clothes, etc. It's worth a visit but nothing spectacular.

This market display a lot of things such as handmade souvenirs, dresses, paints, traditional food, fruits. This is a crowded place so let protect your luggage.

Crowded and way to many shops. I’m sure you can find a deal, but if you get easily claustrophobia don’t go.

My husband and I visited here, and we were in and out in ten minutes. This definitely isn't a place for tourists, and the locals do not look impressed that tourists venture in. I was pushed around, and shouted at.

This is mainly a wholesale market mainly but sellers will sell individual items if you want them. It's packed with all types of children's and adult's clothes, shoes, fabric, suitcases and some household goods. It's huge. I didn't see the food section so can't comment...More

I went at around 5 PM and saw most shops already closed and a few that remained were wrapping up.
