Extremely busy and buzzing street, which has a variety of shops, restaurants and cafes. Crossing roads is very difficult.

A street predominantly comprises silk shops. There are many bargains to be had. Not much by way of negotiations on price. Overall good quality.

This is one of the main streets of the Hanoi old quarter. It connects the Hoàn Kiếm lake to another street that you lead you to Hồ Chí Minh Complex

This is one of the most popular streets to visit in Hanoi for clothing, street food and to enjoy and experience the hustle of life here. It is always busy and noisy but is worth the time to visit

Hang Gai street and the area surrounding the St Joseph Cathedral have quaint shops and cafes with unique characteristics. Best area in the Old Quarter for us. Good selection of food and shopping.

This was once the one and only street where tourists bought silk, embroidery and various Vietnamese made clothes. Now it has turned very touristy, which might be good or bad depending on how you see it. There are other places to find the same thing,...More

Definitely get VND if you're in Hanoi or any other city in Vietnam. That's what the prices for items are usually listed as and you won't have to worry about the exchange rate on the street.
