Our hotel was nearby so we took advantage of the beautiful lake when we wanted a simple walk and people watching. I ran around it a couple of times in the early mornings, too. It is almost exactly 1 mile around it (on the outer...More

We loved this area. There’s always something of interest going on, with people practising Tai Chi, different types of dance, exercising, just socialising. I could walk around this lake every day and when I return to Hanoi, I will do just that!!

This is a lovely spot but the temple itself is is undergoing a renovation at this time so the noise was a little disconcerting. At night this place is beautifully lit up and is quite romantic.

the locals get up pretty early to do their exercises. If you go there around 4 a.m/5am. you will already see people running and old ladies exercising
