When I booked my room, it was near to the cathedral--I pictured a typical cathedral, with manicured lawns, etc. I arrived on a Friday night to find a rather foreboding, dark building, surrounded by a large metal fence. Not what I expected. Next morning I...More

..when we passed the cathedral several times always by chance we started to like it and it became more majestic and beautiful every time. On our last day we’ve been there around 4pm when it was a bit quieter, recommended. A visit while it’s dark...More

We only saw this at night, but the forecourt is alive with a hive of activity with plenty of bars & restaurants to view the action. Get there if you can!

Unfortunately, we were not able to visit the cathedral! It was closed. Around it is a classical cathedral like those we can see in Europe. On the neighborhood, lot of small restaurants, quite nice.

Crowded when we visited on 5 August 2018. There was a mass going on at that time so we were lucky to be inside the cathedral for awhile. So beautiful. Lovely gothic architecture.

I went for mass and it was very special. The church is spectacular. Mass times can be found online. Main gates at the front do not open. When facing the front, the entrance is to the left.

Ancient cathedral with beautiful stained glass inside. Outside facade could have been better maintained. Reminds one of the cathedrals in Europe. If you are in the area, no harm popping by (which is what we did after lunch). Some nice eateries nearby including Porte D'...More

It is not a full sung mass. There are hymns and these are accompanied by the cathedral organ.
