Well worth the visit for a moment of quiet time in busy Hanoi. It is a beautiful Catholic Cathedral. When there are no services going on, you can go in through the side door and enjoy the beautiful statues and stained glass windows.
Undoubtedly worth bringing your digital camera remain along for good quality night shots. It's beautiful. You can't go inside so have a number of photos and also avoid the touts advertising you stuff. I truly understand what else to say.
