We arrived Hanoi on Thursday 15/3/18 and after walking round the old quarter area we discovered this theatre by chance just next to the lake. So we bought the 8:00pm tickets to watch it after dinner. Although we didn’t get to know the story of...More
This was one of the highlights of our visit to Hanoi...highly recommended for all ages and will always think of this when I remember our trip.

This place is heaving with performances pretty much hourly from what could tell, so does feel a bit conveyor belt-y. Puppetry skills are brilliant and despite there being no English commentary, the story lines were easy to follow.

Was not difficult to follow despite being in the Vietnamese language. Enjoyed the cultural instruments played with puppetry.
