I found this to be another interesting illustration of Vietnamese culture. Don't go with the expectation of seeing a Punch and Judy show. Be prepared to see another country's culture. (Why are you in Vietnam if not to see what they have to offer). If you do not understand the language, just enjoy the skill of the puppeteers and the... More

This entertainment is so unusual that you become transfixed by the artistry involved. The music and storylines are authentically Vietnamese, so this all adds to your experience of visiting show lasts about an hour, so it doesn't take up your entire evening.

We did this on one of our nights and it was a funny different experience which wouldn't normally get in the western world. Don't rush here if you're strapped for time, but if you want a laugh and good start to an evening, take a few beers into your bag and enjoy something different before dinner

Unfortunately there is a lot of talk about the puppet show in Vietnam, but for me it was a tourist trap... I do understand there was a meaning to it, when it was created, but to put tourists inside a theater to watch 1 hour show is far too boring... I managed to stay for 10 minutes... It is much... More

The show was very interesting &attempting. Although it's in Vietnami language but you can see the culture in it. The sitting seat was very comfortable.

I guess it could be called interesting but it was silly. Not understanding the lyrics may have been my bias but it should be called simple at best.

One of the best live shows I have seen and is longest puppet show it seems. The cost is just 3$ per person or so and located at the famous lake. There are shoes every one hour in the evening and last show is at 9ish.
