I liked the waterpuppet show! I didn't really know what to expect, but I was pleasently surprised. They speak in Vietnamese, so you dont really understand anything, but it doesn't really matter, the main thing is the waterpuppets. I would say it was worth the...More

The puppet show is steeped in history and shows a funny little stories into traditional local life, in a time me gone by. Don't expect Edwardian theatre or a show to rival Broadway but it's a lovely inside to life and entertainment from a traditional...More

After an opening musical number the action moves to a 10' by 20' pond at the front of the theater. For the next 50 minutes hidden puppeteers will guide elaborate puppets through the water in stunning synchronization with the music. The show consists of 14...More

I wasn't sure what to expect but did enjoy this show with live musicians. It was colourful depicting life in Vietnam (and some legends) and is about an hour long. The mastery of the puppets is very good.

Ok. I came here thinking this was going to be a memorable authentic cultural experience. But....maybe I'm jaded....it was pretty darned dull. Puppets on sticks splashing around in filthy brown water....honestly it got old quick.... 5 minutes was enough for us. We pretty much made...More

Very nice show. The folk music and vocals were amazing. The puppet performance was unusual and very entertaining. During the dragon’s dance, the fire caught the curtain, but the artists were able to bring it down quickly. All was perfect accept that close to the...More

If you're staying a few days try and go to the book office as they have a seating chart for each performance. You might get lucky and get a front row. So in advance get your agent to check and book. Good luck and enjoy
