It's worth the visit . You can learn a lot about Vietnam and Vietnamese people . It's nice , calm we don't hear the noise of Hanoi . More over , it's very cheap for a historical place like this .

It was well worth seeing and you are able to purchase turtles to invest the lake, basically outdoors the school ;-) You must also pass 3 times around among the monuments, for good luck... Old tradition!

The Citadel closes nominally at 4 PM...but also for lunch, 11:30-2:00. However, they're casual - we just walked in the open gate at noon. The Citadel is of considerable historic interest, especially for military history... More
