We enjoyed the show - for what it was: something unique to Vietnamese culture. It is worth it - only lasts approx 50 mins which is enough time to enjoy the puppets and be amazed at how they operate them - and not too long...More

It seems like half the reviewers are writing incorrectly about the water puppets (different theatre and performance entirely) or are mad about pricing. It was 150k dong which is less than $8. It's not an expensive show and I think it's a nice cultural experience...More

this show shoudnt miss! interacting with actors and actress are so fun. dressing traditional costumes look like a king with yellow color. and know more abt instrument, music, and history. it was a great nite in Hanoi.

The Hong Ha Theater, which from a flyer sounds like is part of the Vietnam Tuong Theater, offers a show for tourists that runs on Mondays and Thursdays. We happened to walk by it on a Monday and thought it would be interesting to see...More

Happened to be walking past just before the show started and ended up going in to see what it was. Got to dress up in the costumes and pose on the giant golden throne which was cool. The show was great in a slapstick kind...More
