About
Stay away from home, what makes us really miss is still the meal with family and Mom who is always willing to cook for whole beloved members. From the origin, M.O.M stands for the mystery of mom upon the base that we share all our experiences to give you the feeling like cooking with mom. Besides, Cau Muoi market is chosen to take adventure that experience the reality like a local, like the way we used to follow our Mom to go shopping around market when we were the children.

Had a great morning walking around the market and learning to cook three different Vietnamese dishes. Our teacher/chef, Pink was lovely and we had lots of fun. A bit pricy for Vietnam but a great way to spend a morning.

I attended the afternoon cooking class with my boyfriend on the last day of our Vietnam holiday, and it was definitely a highlight of the whole trip. There were 11 students in the class but we still felt like we had a personal experience. The chef guiding us on the day (Lee, I think) was very easy to understand and a very good instructor. He provided some background on the dishes and ingredients, and suggested alternatives for when we go back home. We were sent the menu when we booked so we knew what we would be cooking. I have seen other courses which offer to tailor the menu, which would be great - but the dishes we made were beautiful and I would never have considered trying them.
I have seen other reviewers mention a trip to the market but we didn’t have that - maybe it is only for morning classes? We didn’t mind either way as we still had a great experience.
Overall it was a great experience and fantastic was to end our trip.

Ona way back from Phu Quoc we had 8 hours between connection flight and we were looking best solution to use it as best as possible. So we found M.O.M site, contacted them and booked ourself to afternoon course. Menu was tempting - springrolls, mango-chicken salat and traditional Vietnamese pancake. Preparing meal, we ate it and looked forward to next challange. Lots of good hints and practices to take back home.

This is a very well structured cooking class with a foxes on small groups and individuals. A visit to a local market with great explanations about the produce we were buying before returning to the “class room”. It’s a casual and intimate introduction to some great dishes to cook. While hands on they are always willing to assist with preparing the dishes. I got a lot of value out of the class and a bonus is they give you the recipes of the dishes you cooked plus recommended alternatives to some of the produce that may be difficult to get back home.

Ba led our cooking class - we had a lot of fun. They made the experience really fun with lots of little extras - tea to drink while eating the food we cooked, cooking outdoors and even little recipe cards to take home! The class was tasty, and we learned a lot about Vietnamese Culture. Really good value for money. And the cats are very cute!!

This was in my top 5 favourite cooking classes I’ve ever done (world wide). It was really easy to follow along, lots of knowledge and insight into the ingredients and dishes.

We learned and ate some amazingly delicious Vietnamese dishes, including fresh spring rolls, banh khot (mini savory pancakes), and beef skewers. The teachers were so kind and even wrote out a recipe for a different dish that I enjoyed in Vietnam that we didn't learn that day that I asked about. The market tour down the block from the cooking class at the beginning of the day was great, and we also appreciated learning tips like how to find the best fish sauce. If you like cooking, or you like eating Vietnamese food and want to bring it back home, I definitely recommend this course!

This was a wonderful experience and a highlight of my time in Saigon. The street market tour was a quick and informative walk around the block. The class was a lot of fun and went into a lot of detail about the ingredients. We made fresh spring rolls, stuffed pumpkin flowers, and a curry lemongrass chicken dish. We even got to keep the recipes after the class!
