This is a famous street for souvenir shopping, it has many hand made items like hand bags, wooden crafts, cloth, and some fake items,so be aware of that.

Great street with many hotels and restaurants. the shops range form designer to local souvenirs. Crossing the road is fun and not for the light lighthearted. At times the footpaths also have scooters on them

This is near of one of the most crowded areas of the city, 24h a day, full of restaurant, craft shops and massage centers. It is directly linked with Lê Lợi street and walking distance to Bến Thành Market.

Great location for a bit more upscale shops. Look up and see the historical buildings. This is such a beautiful street!

This is an upscale HCMC street, very different of others in the area. There's the famous and beautiful Saigon opera along with many high end fashion stores, art galleries, exclusive hotels and restaurants. Such a street is very usual for Europe, but here in Saigon, after the street vendors and bikes madness it seems like being from another planet.

Dong Khoi Street is HCMC's "5th Avenue", complete with the fancy shops carrying international name brands... there's also a number of locally owned stores that sell Vietnamese items too, as well as some sidewalk vendors selling trinkets + snacks... coffee shops are found here & offer a respite from the afternoon heat :)) (Note that these places are priced "ala... Known as Rue Catin under the French, it is anchored by their cathedral and post office at one end, the the fabulous Majestic Hotel on the banks of the Saigon River at the other. Not a particularly long walk, but you will pass the famous Hotel Continental and the Opera House, as well as the Caravelle Hotel.
