We stayed at this place for 3 nights and included side trips to the floating markets as well as the land markets and a candy making factory, with a village walking tour thrown in. Our first impression was not good as my Wife and I were the only ones arriving on this particular boat. We were helped off the boat... More

Great 1 night 2 day stay. Picked up from hotel. Couple of hours drive. Boarded a small boat to Lodge. Lunch was a great treat. 5 courses. Bike ride, local entertainment with tea and fruit provided. Boat ride through small waterways. Dip in Lodges large swimming pool. Sunset cruise. Evening cookery lesson, making wanton and spring rolls for evening meal.... More

If you want to see the "real" Vietnam Mekong Lodge located on the Tien river just off the mighty Mekong is the place to visit. If you are looking for 5 star this is not it but far more worthwhile to get a glimpse of the "real" Vietnam. Very attentive staff especially our English speaking guide Mr Hau who couldn't... More

We visited this lodge in April after a fellow hotel guest in Ho Chi Minh recommended it. They picked us up from our hotel and drove us to a dock where we took a beautiful wooden boat to the Eco Lodge. We were served lunch - the first of our five course meals, which was delicious. I'm vegetarian and each... More

Beautiful grounds and an obvious great location right on the Mekong River. I had originally been interested in a homestay but being a solo traveller it was difficult to find accommodations at a reasonable price. The Lodge booked a tour for me and provided transportation as well. And the manager which was our guide for the 2 days was awesome.... More

We had one night at the beautiful Mekong Lodge and it was a wonderful experience. Our guide couldn't have been better, and our three children aged 14, 12 and 9 loved it too. The trips on the river were great, as was the bike ride on the island. Even the kids enjoyed wrapping wontons at the cooking school. Food was... More

We made a last minute decision when we had been in HCMC for 24 hours that we wanted to see the delta region and the Trip Advisor comments made the Lodge a logical choice. Prompt responses to our emails helped make confirmation of our plans for an overnight stay really easy, and overall the service (from hotel pick up to... More

My wife and I stayed for the one night package having booked from Ho Chi Minh City. We were collected from our hotel arriving late morning then returned to HCMC the following afternoon. Mekong Lodge is unique, the rooms thatched bungalow type, set along or back from the river amongst gardens. The iteniary was led for us by Khoa. He... More
