This day-long tour of rural Vietnam was extremely well organized, exposing us to so many different aspects of life outside of the big cities. During the tour we were transported on mobylettes, bicycles, sampans and a river boat to visit a coconut processing plant, a brick making facility, a local home where we saw how rice paper was made and a delicious six course lunch outside in beautiful surroundings. Most importantly, we got see see so much of breath-taking landscape in this remote area. Periodically throughout the day, as well as the on the riverboat, there was fresh fruits and drink, always attentively served. We always felt like well-treated guests. This was a great way to experience life in the countryside of Vietnam. Well worth including this on your itinerary!

A fantastic and well organised private tour which included a cyclo and sampan trips, a visit to a family coconut business, brick making, rice wine making and learnt to make rice paper! The welcome and hospitality on board with fresh fruit and coconut milk when we arrived and the lunch at Mango Home were superb. Would recommend!!!!

We booked the 3 day/2 night half-and-half tour and had a wonderful experience. The boat and grounds were beautiful. The food was amazing. With 5 course meals at every lunch and dinner, you really get to try a wide range of Vietnamese cuisine. More importantly, though, every person we encountered on the trip was warm and friendly and made us feel at home. Our guide, Thu, was incredible. She spoke English beautifully and made sure not only to point out what we were seeing, but gave us the history and context behind it. We really had a great time and would recommend this company without hesitation.

We had been to Mekong Delta about 10 years ago and had fond memories of it being a very special destination . This trip , we booked a private tour and were keen to share the experience with our 3 adult children . It was Dec 31 so perhaps the roads were busier than normal but the trip was no less than 6 hours return in the van . The tour of the Delta was ok but nothing wonderful. The guide did what was required but was not engaging or fun . The meal on the river was lovely and the hosts very welcoming . The part of the Delta we visited seemed industrial and not the tranquil beautiful waterways I remembered. We were rushed because our flight in was delayed and we had a tour to make back in Ho Chi Min that night ( we ended up missing half of it ) so we had to condense the trip on the Delta , but even if we hadn’t - it was very average and if we had our time again we certainly wouldn’t have spent so much money on a mediocre experience. It has potential and perhaps with more enthusiastic guides and the hospitality at lunch being extended to a quality experience all day - they could improve .

We stayed at Mango River Resort and booked a half day boat trip of the area. It was a fabulous trip made special by our guide Diep who was really informative, helpful and great fun. It felt like we packed in a lot in a short space of time.
