Oldest French colonial building still preserved to its glory. Functioning post office and to the right are a number of sovenier shops which are fixed price and better than market place

A glimpse of time in this classic building which is still a working post office. Amidst souvenir hawkers you will find surly civil servants available to see stamps and ship packages overseas. There are actually some lovely post cards amongst the tacky bits.

This building is amazing. Still a working post office. But also included is a number of small shops. The orginal telephone boxes have been adapted for internet and laptops. Very crowded when we were ther.

What a gorgeous building but it was filled with tacky souvenirs and the beautiful glue pots we had been told about were now fast food cups! Speaking of fast food, McDonalds is attached to the building...I guess modernidation?

Beautiful and interesting building, wit nic3 souvenir shops. You can also write a post card and send it from here!

Good-looking French-design building is nicely renovated and serves as central post office, although it looks a bit like railway station (in positive sense !!). Crowded mainly with tourists - I'd say much more of photo-taking people than real customers ..

The Central Post Office is still in use, my friend and I went there in the early morning to buy post card and can mail directly there. When we went out, the are students taking graduation pictures in front of the Post Office. Nice experience...More

Part of the historical building in HCMC and definitely worth visiting for photo taking and buying souvenirs back for family members.

I remember those banks of phones in Post Offices across Europe, back in the day! Not needed now in the Mobile Phone generation! Great to see they haven't removed them - a great colonial experience until you look up at Uncle... More
