ATM's for phone booths

The Post Office is actually still in service, although ATM's have replaced the telephones in the booths. Architecturally French and well maintained.

spartan monument but good in the evenings as a photograph background. Nothing much to see inside except a large basic post office.

We have been to the Singapore Post Office, the Colombo Post Office and quite a few others. This one is worth a quick look perhaps, for the architecture or even to post a letter ! There is an enormous picture of Uncle Ho at the far end of the hall which makes me wonder what might have been there before... More

Well-kept colonial structure, maintained as it was. Also, within walking distance from major hotels, adjacent to Notre Dame cathedral, and cafes & restaurants. Sitting on the bench inside took us back to olden times when the facility must have been an important Center for communication.

You cannot miss this bright yellow building. It's nice to see how it is a tourist site but yet the postal office is still fully functional. While inside you can see the historic phone booths. If you buy a post card from the outside hustlers or prefer to buy them from the inside vendors, you will see people sitting inside... More

Designed by Gustaffe Eiffel, this is possibly the most beautiful post office in the world, and this is not a hyperbole. To not visit this place would be a huge miss for any visitor to Saigon, and just across the street is also another French wonder, a cathedral brought over from France brick by brick. Amazing that these have survived... More
