We went back here a number of times during our visit, the shopping was that good! Traditional gift shops, quality branded clothing, and delicious food as well as anything else you could possibly want! We got a number of great Christmas pressies, including a majong set that would have cost me at least $100 in Australia, but I paid $20.... More

This mall is now being demolish to make way for the metro station. How sad because of progress HCMC is now slowly changing its horizon. Old building are being demolish to make way for progress. It used to sell goods at average prices where the man in the street can afford. But now it is only history.

I absolutely love this mall as it is not too huge and the price is really reasonable. It is such a shame that it will be torn down for the use of metro station, they are having cheap sales now and I did manage to buy some clothes here, normally there are not a lot of people and that makes... More

Lots of average shops all selling the same thing. You'll find a bargain but nothing original or exciting

So sad! This 130 year-old building is being torn down for a new underground metro connection and 40-story office building. There are huge sales now and then it will close by October 1, 2014. This place has a well-used grocery store popular with tourists to stock-up on supplies, t-shirts, and hats as well as some handicraft souvenir shops on a... More

An alternative to Ben Than market is the Thuong Xa Tax. We keep coming back here for the small supermarket and Highlands Coffee. We bought some souvenirs on the top floor. Cheap items and can haggle the price.

When your in Ho Chi Minh city you must come to the Thuong Tax centre, you will find something that you need. The supermarket on level 2 is wonderful, this is my regular haunt. The selection of food is good and the prices are fantastic.

This place has a supermarket and many stalls selling various clothings on the 3rd floor. I find the shirts for men are good quality and reasonably priced. The price is fixed and may be better than Saigon Square. I bought a shawl which is cheap. If you are looking for food there is Highland cafe and a Vietnamese restaurant.
