This museum is worth a visit. Beautiful displayed, it shows the history of Vietnam, of which I as Westerner don't know much about. So I learned a lot........

I went there twice. One with family visiting and one with my toddler. Both times, they say the puppet show is at a certain time. We timed our visit only to be disappointed there is no puppet show as there are not enough people. Museum...More

We spent around an our looking are this museum. It is a nice collection of Vietnamese artifacts with short descriptions in Vietnamese, English and French. There's is no much mention of Vietnam War, probably because there are several other museums about the war in HCM...More

well curated museum that sets out the history of the country very well but it has limited artefacts and relies mainly on charts, diagrams, photos and some paintings. I would have appreciated more "things" to look at but it did give us a clearer understanding...More

Beautiful garden at the start. Allows you to see the evolution and the history of Vietnam. A lot of sculptures and artefacts

Wonderful museum to learn about ho chi minh city history. Very good and enjoyed inside. This place is in one complex with saigon zoo and botanical garden

It definitely could not compare to other international museums but it's really the most wonderful place to teach our children about Vietnamese history 😍 I should have bring them there sooner 😩

It is small and not important things to show. Just some cloths and old toys that you can see every where. please don't go.

I found this museum very interesting. A big collection of historical artefacts from the stone age to the last emperors of Vietnam. Nice exhibition of the Cham tribe sculpture. Some huge French cannons outside. Tickets are just 15000 dongs which is a bargain. Lovely yard...More

The ticket was only 15,000 VND (about 50p), it cost more to take the camera in but that was only 40,000 (just over £1).
