The palace has been renovated a number of times but still holds a wealth of history and a stunning ornate timber roof, make sure you include it in your itinerary for the Citadel.

A beautiful Nguyen palace with original furniture and fittings, specifically for each Nguyen king so memorialized. Has an alter for each along with his Royal bed. Great video presentation inside helps with understanding it all. Enjoy!

Many palaces in the citadel are damaged. However, this palace is in a good condition. I am not sure whether it is restored or not. Very easy to find as you enter the main gate for ticket checking.
