We went around sunset time. The lighting by the perfume river was very nice from the pagoda area. It was very cool around that time too. Would visit this place again.

Interesting to see this Buddhists pagoda with its long history. You need a guide to understand all history and details. Nice river view.

Take a boat down the Perfume River and visit this Pagoda. It is very picturesque and has a definite serenity here. You can appreciate the architecture, the history and see how the monks operate.

We stopped here on our cruise down the river. The pagoda is rather lovely, there is quite a steep climb up to the top which on a very hot day was quite taxing but I don't think it was worth making a special trip to...More

This is an active monastery which is also a major tourist attraction. Definitely worth going and taking a moment to be away from the hustle and bustle. You can enjoy the serene surroundings and possibly find inner peace ;)

Lots of stairs but worth the effort. The views of the perfume river and surrounds are beautiful. The Pagoda is well looked after and is free to visit.

This pagoda is nice place to visit. We come by boat so it is very romantic to enjoy this sceneries from boat. The tower has 07 stories which is related to buddalism. From this pagoda, we can enjoy the panorama view of river.

A beautiful pagoda which is still in use. Set on the bank of the perfume river, the entry is quite majestic with about 40 steps to climb. Do not miss the giant turtoise in the right pavilion and the large gong in the left one....More

I'm not sure of the closing time, however if you want to wander around the outside of it you can. The exterior of the pagoda is worth seeing if that is all the time you have.
