This tomb is nice. It's many gorgeous views for taking pictures. It stood apart from another tombs. Which made it appear extremely awe and mysterious. Go inside and investigate it. You are going to change the mood of yours. I am certain.

The gates of the tomb look slightly run down but don’t be deceived, the garden in the back is lavish, picturesque & serene. We hired an English guide who was very knowledgeable and gave as much information as requested.

We visited the three top tombs, of which this was our definite favourite. It is laid out according to strict Confucian principles, and these seem to have worked to produce a lovely place, with a fine aesthetic and a placid feel. Or it might be...More

This is a beautiful site and we really enjoyed strolling around here. If only able to see one, I might choose Khai DInh instead.

A peaceful, magnificent place. Quite close to Hue, the drive there is also through a beautiful, picturesque road. One can't see the tomb itself, but a number of buildings and terraced that lead to the tomb, still it's definitely. Walking through the place is wonderful...More

This Emperor of the Nguyen dinasty of Vietnam from 1820-1841, he was well known for his opposition to French involvement in Vietnam, he sent many missioniries to death. We visited with our guide, and he took us through the history of the tomb, very interesting.

Built during the emperor's lifetime the place feels more like a royal palace than a tomb as it has plenty of spaces designed for the living. Beautiful and quiet landscaped gardens. Really worth the trip out of town!

I'd allow about 90 min of Minh Mang but a quick walk through could be done in under an hour
