We visited the Royal tomb in Hue during our tour round Vietnam. It is an extremely impressive building located in beautiful gardens.

Completely remarkable. Difficult to reach with no transport so work with a motorbike or perhaps driver for the morning. Buy the multi ticket for citadel and tombs. We have a driver via the hotel of ours for forty dollars for the morning and he was...More

The island in the lake of water lilies and the valleys of water and water lilies give this place a tranquil feel. The day room the emperor rested in is very interesting and the story about him, his brother and his brothers son make the room...More

You can purchase a multi ticket for the citadel and 3 tombs (Khai Dinh, Tu Duc & Minh Mang tombs) at the citadel for 360,000 dong (a saving of 90,000 dong). The tombs are approx 8-9 kilometres out of Hue. There are restoration works going...More

I visited three of royal tombs. They're all far more parks compared to mausoleums, though they're in different states of disrepair or even ruin. It amuses me to believe that the monarchs, with maybe one exception, doubtless thought these regions will be perpetual reminders of...More

We did not pick the ideal trip for the day. We paid a tiny amount of cash each and went holding a bus trip which took us to 7 sites such as 3 of the 7 tombs. The tombs had been so incredible we overlooked...More

The Imperial city and also the Emperor's tomb was extremely exciting. Our tour guide describes to us exactly why it was created as the greatest point, which water should flow separate from it. The Thien Mu and tomb Pagoda had been extremely well looked after...More

The various tombs were gorgeous, went well beyond the expectations of mine. Well preserved and fascinating to visit. Such critical pieces of history and quite the latest also, was impressed and curious to explore.

Amazing which helps to keep going for some time, so be completely ready to go up several steps. The entire complex is very big and exceptionally well crafted and appears to be holding up very well against the merciless climate of the region. I'd recommend...More

Lots of the structures are in the process of being renovated/rebuilt but was very interesting hearing about the royal family in Vietnam.

They all involve quite a bit of walking & steps! I thought that Khai Dinh Tomb was the most spectacular but there were some steep steps at the entrance. After that there was little walking involved.
