At Christmas time this place is all decked out. Complete with a huge tree, fountain lights, lots of Santas and carriage rides. It is a very festive place to go over the holidays.

This square is amazing in all seasons of the year. it's really popular for colouful singing fountains which you can enjoy on summer evenings. Music is great too!

I've been there for 4 days and really enjoyed the atmosphere . there was some music playing with some Fountain which was amazing and also people could relaxed there.

Nice place, I liked the decorations with the lights, I was lucky enough to see it with Christmas deco. Also during the day if you need to arrange/ bargain for tour prices there are some vans offering tour services , you can easily recognize them...More

We visited this place last New Year and we were amazed with the Christmas decors, lights and Christmas tree made of ice!!! Lots of people wearing Santa claus costume are there to make the tourists feel like you are in the world of Santa :)...More

Wonderful atmosphere, caracteristic tufa stone buildings.. currently a square with one of the best illuminations.. really amazing.. it's a pity we didn't manage to see the dancing fountain because of the snow but it was so beautiful square either way..

Really worth to see A very nice historical place With beautiful buildings I visited it in winter ❄️ And it was really beautiful in snow I had a 6 days trip and I visited this place more than 10 times ☺

Republic Square is a very big square where one will find a large fountain , sitting areas , a public parking and taxis areas all surrounded by 5 beautiful and large buildings well proportioned to each other ! it is a gathering place for tourists...More
