Trip to the center of Heydar Aliyev
The trip to the Heydar Aliyev Center was a good experience for me. In the center, you can separately visit the exhibition of retro cars and the exhibition of Salvador Dali (on this day). The interior of the building is quite unusual, and at the same time very beautiful. The center had a lot of things dedicated to the first president of Azerbaijan, from his biography to his cars and uniforms. Also in the center there are exhibitions of dolls, carpets, paintings and models. There is a lot of content in the center, I advise everyone to visit.

    Building experience of a lifetime!
World reknowned female architect’s masterpiece This building is one of the most extraordinary buildings in the world. The absence of a single straight angle and divine use of curves makes for an amazing experience. It is beautiful and challenging and houses stunning history of Azerbaijan. It was worth coming here just to see and experience this master piece. Her early death at 66 was a tragic loss to architecture and beauty.

A modern architectural experience like nothing else
This museum is absolutely stunning - the building is so unique and the architecture, by female architect Zada Hidad, has to be seen and experienced. It was without doubt one of the highlights of Baku for us - and we had many of those. The building is breathtakingly beautiful and being inside the building was like nothing we'd every experienced. Her use of curves, space, neutral colours and light were exceptional. The exhibitions were extraordinary and also information and educational. Take the time to visit and enjoy this modern day marvel. We visited three times and still wanted more.

    Pure Zaha Hadid!
Zaha Hadid, you are truly missed. What a genious architect you were, and this center is part of your legacy, the white color, the forms, the park outside… more than a center, a legacy monument ! The collection inside is nice, but the true piece of museum is the whole building

    Totally awesome
Depending on what you like, I thought this place was amazing. I never thought I'd be blown away by rugs (there are more than rugs in there by the way!). The building itself is also great. A nice (but quite expensive) café is also inside. I walked there from the old city, which I wouldn't recommend as it was quite a long way and there were lots of roads to cross.

    Highly recommended.
Like the outside the inside of the centre is equally impressive. The history aspect of the museum goes through the development of Azerbaijan and Heydar Aliyev. It's interactive and well displayed. The other exhibits are equally great to see and a must for visitors.

    Unmissable
One of the top attractions in Baku, this is an absolute must do. It's slightly out of the centre, but well worth the trip, & there are myriad other Instagram worthy sights within the vicinity too, including the LoveBaku sign, Baku Convention Centre & failed Trump Tower. The HACC structure is incredible, inside & out, & I assume many visitors come as I did, to admire the architectural genius of 'Queen of Curves' Zaha Hadid, rather than for the exhibitions within. These showcase Azerbaijan history & the life & work of much loved former leader, Heydar Aliyev. At the time of my visit there were two additional (& further chargeable) exhibitions, one by Salvador Dali & the other on classic cars. The Baku in miniature exhibition is especially good & will appeal to younger visitors as well as older ones. I booked an e-ticket online & received acknowledgment of payment, but not the e-ticket itself …. & so ended up having to pay again at the door (15AZN for a regular adult). The website made no mention of the Dail exhibition either. Returning to the structure itself...... its flowing, wave-like curves are worthy of a photo from multiple angles, the all white interior plays tricks on the brain at The design is simply brilliant, though the rolling curve of the ground floor appeared to be causing some lift in the tiling. I was sorry not to be able to see the auditorium, which I assume must only be open to the public during a performance. I didn’t use it but there’s a chic looking cafe/bar at lobby level.

    A fantastic museum .. a must see
Definitely a 5* Museum. The architecture is even more stunning as you approach on foot. The gentle curves of outside are continued throughout the interior, so I was immediately met by a feeling of calm. As you meander through each room and exhibits the attention to detail is amazing… i dare you not to smile as you enter the interactive start of musical instruments. This is after a stroll through carpets and costumes of Azerbaijan - a great idea is a magnifying glass on each carpet so you can see the weave. After a cafe stop (to enjoy a delicious tuna roll), we continued downstairs to the Motor Museum.. Wow! Its incredibly interesting .. and had my favourite dream car Mercedes SL 280. All staff throughout were friendly and helpful. Həydər Aliyev museum is fantastic but please be warned. Allow far more time than you think you need, we will be going again

    Amazing architecture
Visited the place when I was in Baku for a congress. The architecture is so amazing that you do not have to put anything inside. On the other hand the exhibitions inside the building are also great such as the various musical instruments or the little Baku

    Well worth a visit
Located a ten minute drive from the city centre this is well worth a visit. Stunning architecture, interesting exhibits and a great coffee shop! Museum gives a great insight into Azerbaijan's history.

This is by far the most beautiful building that I've ever seen or been inside.
It's designed by a female Iraqi architect and it's totally amazing to see.

The entrance fee is definitely worthwhile to pay.

Pro.
Location is slightly far. However bus 5 goes from Nizami street. It's a huge building need to walk a lot. Beautiful architecture building, best designed by late Zaha Hadid. Excellent work. It is going to be a fullday tour or if you are on a hurry, it is nothing less than half day. Museum is well designed.

Cons.
No power point for mobile users to charge thier mobiles phones.
Entry fees slightly over priced.
There should be a proper marking start to end.
Need places to sit for elderly people on each floor

Overall .Worth visiting.

Incredible architecture and great exhibitions which range from Baku's history & international relations to local + global art. There are a few interactive parts of the exhibition too. The area outside is made very well, and the I Love Baku sign outside makes this the perfect tourist picture spot too. The price for foreigners was 15 AZN per person - well worth it! We spent about 2 hours exploring.

The Heydar Aliyev Center one of the world’s masterpieces in architecture it was completed in 2012 and has grown into a signature architectural landmark of modern Baku. Between this and the Flame Towers building it puts Azerbaijan on the map of architectural beauties.

Heydar Aliyev Centre, Baku, Azerbaijan: The Silk Road legacy has always had a magnetic pull on me since a child. Azerbaijan is a mix of the Silk Road romanticism, mixed with Eurasia traditions and now with coffers lined up rich oil money, handsome and ambitious architecture throw up - such as the Heydar Aliyev Center. If you’re a Zaha Hadid fan like me, who has been on her fan trail, you’ll add this to your collection. Sharp angles you won’t see, but undulating curves you will. The fluid form is such a strong stand out, it’s like an architecture pilgrim’s call. Little wonder it made to “Azerbaijan’s Amazing Transformation”. Most spend hours preening their IG shots here. The noteworthy museum is the Vintage Cars museum with a sprawling collection of noteworthy US, Soviet, German and even Ukrainian cars. #eatstylishtravelstylish

I think this should be your number one must to visit place if you ever travel to Baku. Its architecture itself is one of a kind . A photo in front of it is must. Inside you have the modern science and history of Azerbaijan blended in one place. There are some nice exhibits and structures inside .
Don't miss to click a picture with I Love Baku with the center in background. Trust me this will be the cover picture of your Azerbaijan Trip

The design and architecture of the building is its most impressive element. We also enjoyed the exhibits, especially the musical instruments.
