This is probably the most popular place for shopping for the people of Dhaka. A very good shopping market where you can find jewelries, bags, clothes, stationary items, bed sheets, pillows - almost all the items you need. The place is very crowded. Things you find here are cheaper than other places but you have to bargain a lot. Almost... More

There are various shops that sell different types of clothes from adult (men and women) to kiddies clothing (boys and girls). Saris, long sleeved shirts from designers like 'next, izod, police, ck' etc are available. Tip, drive a hard bargain. T... More

However, it is best to carefully check the clothes before purchase to check whether there are any defects there. Also everything else under the sun is available... More

Well it's a very old market with a history. You can get almost everything here at a bargain price. And get scared about the asking price, they will probably sell it at 1/2 or 2/3 of the asking price. So have an adventure.
