The iconic mosque of Brunei. I would particularly recommend walking around it because it has different and interesting features from every side, particularly the furthest side from the city where there is a pond. From the inside it is nice - nothing exceptional, and non-Muslims...More

This palace, which is of course splendid and very attractive, stands out like a very shiny dot in what is otherwise an unremarkable town. It is clear that wealth is not all that equally shared here, despite the fact that the resident is considered to...More

This is one of the loveliest mosques in the world and is available for viewing and photographing. Must dress appropriately and be reverent. No entry fee and you can visit as long as you would like. This is truly a magnificent sight!

This grand mosque, standing in a place of an ancient mosque is a fine piece of modern Islamic architecture. And it is free to visit, plus believers of any faith are welcome! The mosque is greatly illuminated at night!

My guide books and on line have differing information on opening times. Is someone able to confirm if this mosque is open to visit on the inside on a Saturday please? Thanks.
