We were just planning to look around, but got talked into paying for a guide/employee of the Palace. So glad we did. He was knowledge and friendly, with just the right balance between seriousness and humor.

Visited this place last weekend. Amazed by the pruned trees n pretty flowers. It is better you hire a tour guide to get an idea of kings lifestyle and history of Cambodia Culture.

It was really pretty here. Pleasant to walk around. Some places you can see in but can't enter. It was just a nice break from the crazy but nothing dramatically impressive. I went with a tour group and the guide gave us loads of info...More

An interesting combination of Franco-Cambodian architecture still inhabited by the royal family. The coronation room is stunning with tiers of thrones, a massive carpet and beautiful chandeliers. Quite nice to walk around the outside of the buildings but does not compare to the Bangkok version. Interiors are not really accessible and there isn’t a huge amount of external decoration.

Hi We stayed at the Mad Monkey, cheap and convenient. The high end is the Nagaworld or the SunWay. Phnom Penh is fairly cheap for taxis and TukTuks and easy to get round. enjoy your trip

Sorry for my late answer. But I'm not sure about that. You should ask the hotel that you booked.
