The Palace and the grounds are beautiful the detail is awesome. We were there during a busy time so we couldn't spend as much time as we liked.

This place gets overrun really fast with tourists. I highly recommend getting there when it opens before 2 pm, and take pictures in the first 10 minutes when it's empty.

WE had a guide here who walked us through eh various buildings of the royal palace and told us the story. without that we would have missed alot so I would advise a guide if you want knowledge rather than just seeing. The architecture is very interesting and spectacular and similar to Thai but different. We spent half a day... More

It is a must see but many parts (including the garden) are excluded from the visitors access. Make sure you get water with you as it gets mighty hot behind the walls!

The royal palace is very well kept. Clean. With the yellow Brick Road surrounding the entire palace. No crowds and a very easy destination to get to and to visit. An absolute must see.

Very accessible Can get quite busy and the entrance fee is $20 so one of the most expensive things in the city Worth a visit though, but avoid the peak heat of the day. Can easily be done in an hour

The Royal palace complex is certainly the most beautiful thing you're about to see in PP. It is situated in the very center and occupies a big area. There are several edifices you're entitled to visit with your ticket, but the best are the central ceremonial and meeting palace and the Silver pagoda. Among them very beautiful gardens. The central... More

A cluster of gold classic Khmer roof buildings, official residence of King Sihamoni, with the silver pagoda. Part of the ground is closed to public. Please wear proper attire of knee length & no exposed shoulders.

Very nice site with lot of things to see. I give 4 and not 5 stars because there is no rest area to relax (and the temperature is usually very high). Moreover, the place is quite crowded and noisy.
