We bought some clothes here, you really have to discuss and argue with a smile to get a bargain! A lot of locals and Chinese tourist here. I found prices around the Russian market are just as good. Be careful with your belongings!

I needed to buy some flip flops and didnt want to waste a lot of time. This market was too large, crammed, and confusing to complete that task. Eventually i found the flip flops, but only after backtracking through endless skirts and metal knick knacks....More

I was looking for polo shirts and the shops in and around the Russian market were great. They had multiple sizes and varieties and better quality products compared to the Central Market where they struggled to have either, and it's nearby night market near the...More

Good for a mooch, bargaining skills a must, we generally managed to get 40-50% off asked price, not as much hassle from store holders as in a lot of the Asian markets. Loads of quality counterfeit clothes and uk market stuff, George, monsoon, forever 21,...More

The most attractive market in the city, because it's people. Sellers are Super friendly, open to do business, and always with a smile. Although everybody sells the same products, you can find lot of options in every store to buy a souvenir.

Amazing experience to walk around this maze in the heart of the city. Prices are reasonable too! We felt safe with our three kids the youngest being 7 years old.

The Russian Market is fun to walk around but isn’t anything special if you have been to other Cambrian markets. It’s easy to go to after the killing fields and to break up a sobering day.

Dirty, smelly and ugly stuff to buy The heat is incredible. There is no air coming in and the smell of the food they cook everywhere.

Unfortunately, like in so many countries, guides feel they must include a shopping experience. Understandably it is to get you to buy and support some of the community, but there are so many shops selling the same things all over Phnom Penh.

This market it's more about art and craft. If you want daily kitchen stuff, better to go on "Orussey" market.

The market became popular with foreigners in the 1980s when most of its visitors were Soviets who lived in the area, hence the name.
