My wife and I visited the COPE Visitor Centre at the recommendation of a friend living in Vientiane. We were looking for a cultural/educational experience before getting a flight back home. We spent an hour or so walking through the centre and had time to...More

The display here is very well curated. My favourite part was the recreation of a hut and the many uses local people have for bomb scrap metal. Entry is free. It's a great cause, and something everyone visiting Vientiane should go and see.

A heart wrenching experience but one that every visitor to Laos should undertake. It was devastating to realise the extent of US bombing and its ongoing aftermath. Informative and important.
