The place takes you back in time. A bit of an eerie feeling , being that you are among so many statues. Made the most of the visit/place on a rainy day (not necessarily) the best time to visit,

Worth the 40 minutes trip from Vientiane. The statues are contemporary and made of concrete, so don't expect any historical artifact, but it's an amazing mix of buddhist and hindu figures and the giant pumpkin is fun for children. The park isn't very large, one...More

Little or no information about the statues, only a sentence in the information center, quite disapointing. You can take bus to Budda Park, cheap and very cool, the bus look new and not too crowd even on Sunday

Personally, it's a well worth place to visit simply because it's unique. Yes it's about statue and only status although nothing much being explained, but still worth to visit if you have a couple of hours to kill. Take bus number 14 behind Morning Market...More

It's definitely worth visiting this place while you're in vientiane (although I guess that's not really saying much, as there's not a huge amount to do...) It's basically just a bunch of statues combining Buddhism and Hinduism, it's a bit surreal to walk around but...More

You can walk around it in 5 minutes. Not worth the effort to get there. The cafe is quite pricey as well.

The park took around 45 minutes to get to from central Vientiane but was well worth it. Set in peaceful grounds with a reclining Buddha and lots of other relics representing Laos history. Café and toilets aren't up to much and watch out for the...More

This park is about a 35 minute tuk tuk ride from town but is still worth a visit to see a wonderful collection of stayed situated in a park. Only need about an hour at the park though. Food and drinks are available.

We arranged for a half day Tuk Tuk from our hotel in the center of town. It was around $30 for our family of four with 5 stops or so. Buddha Park was our first stop. An interesting, contemporary sculpture garden. Reasonable entry fee. Take...More

Since u r in Vientiane another extra day will be more relaxing. Going around Vientiane in a motorcycle is more convenient but for me renting a bicycle is good enough for me. Going to Buddha Park by bus is just as easy. Take... More
