Interesting looking Stupa--but nothing special. Take a picture and move on. You can just drive around it also.

This was the first Stupa we had seen that wasn't being restored and vegetation allowed to take over. However, It did provide for a great photo opportunity.
Unlike most offerings in Vientiane this Stupa has been left alone. It acts as a roundabout at a junction which we came across by chance. It's right next to the American centre building, you'd think they would would pay for it to be restored..!!!
The black stupa should be included in your walk around the city. It stands out among the commercial and residential buildings of the area- to me, it was an "old touch" in a more modern vibrant town.
