We arrived in Mongolia with no expectations knowing we wouldn’t see it all in 3 weeks but were hopeful we could cover many of the best sites either via a tour or preferably self-drive.
From our research it seemed that hiring a car and collecting camping supplies was the way to go. Nope. For lots of good reasons this is not the smartest way to see Mongolia.
We’d read good reviews for Man of Millennium Tours and when I reached out, they did not disappoint. Uuna, the owner, met with us immediately and was indeed surprised we hadn’t booked ahead.
The tour Uuna arranged for us in next to no time (great value for money -budget package) was the 9 day Northern and Central Mongolia tour. Absolutely incredible. The beauty of the country and the nomadic lifestyle that still exists was just awesome.
Our English speaking guide, Sanjaa, was a delight and so very helpful and our driver, Zorigoo, was incredibly professional, safe, courteous with a great sense of humour.
I would highly recommend asking for this duo. They got on so well, laughed a lot and made us feel so very relaxed.
Sanjaa cooked our meals and catered to dietary requirements, accompanied us on walks and made sure we were comfortable at all times.
We had no breakdowns and perfect weather.
I would highly recommend touring the shoulder season as it wasn’t busy and often you feel like the only people on the beautiful plains.
Note: I recommend getting your guide’s number and taking your own sleeping bag (or at the very least a sleeping bag inner sheet) and pillowcase.
Beds are hard and pillows harder! 😆

Very good booking experience and personalised tour. My partner and I went to Mongolia at the end of May 2024. It was our first trip to this exotic country and you have to go to the countryside. Man of Millennium is one of few agencies which can operate a tour in May.
The business owner Uuna was very responsive and answered all of my questions. As we prefer a ger with an ensuite which you normally won't see it on any websites, she facilitated our requests and also modified the itinerary to fit our tour. I appreciated her help even though I did not have a chance to meet her in person.
Our tour guide was an enthusiastic and friendly young lady Lkham (aka Lilo). We were not able to see those amazing scenes and communicate with local people and a nomadic family without her translations, even though it was a bit hard to understand her English at times. She even sent us a backpack handmade by herself as a gift. Our driver was also good and very considerate to give us a chance to take photos.
It was a shame the shower and drainage in our bathroom did not work properly and we did not have a number to call during the night. We had to use the public shower in the following morning. For future travellers, it will be handy to get your tour guide's number at the beginning.

Uuna took great care in setting up our tour to our very specific and changing itinerary. Leelo was a very enthusiastic and knowledgeable guide. The tour included horseback riding in the Orkhon Valley, complete with helmets, and riding camels in the SemiGobi. We also visited the Old Capitol (Karkorum). Our guide made sure we had amazing food and comfortable accommodations. We also learned a lot about Buddist culture and local traditions. Our driver stopped for every bird we wanted to see, and whenever one of our 7 people needed to use the bathroom. Our group highly recommends Man of Millenium Tours.

Uuna incorporated all our request for a customized tour.Sana & Peter were professional, friendly & accommodating. They were knowledgeable & treated us like friends. Easy to talk to & quick to adapt to our needs during the tour. We enjoyed the beauty of Mongolia and skill of Peter's driving in UB as the traffic was challenging. I would highly recommend Man of Millennium Tours. They went above and beyond.

We went with 6 friends and we had the best time in Mongolia.
Our tour guise Lilo, it's so fun, charismatic and charming, without her, the trip would not have been by far one of the best trips of our lives.
Mandaa our driver was very helpful responsive to our very request and even cook tradicional mongolian cuisine for us.
On the other hand, none of the above would have been possible without the organization of Uuna, who resolved all our doubts and requests before our the trip.
I definitely highly recommend this experience!!

2 of my friends and I did a 3 day tour with Man of millennium. We visited mini gobi, terelj and a large statue of Genghis khan. We are very happy to have chosen man of millennium tour's service. Horse riding and camel riding were enjoyable too. The team worked perfectly. Thank you Uuna for organzing our trip on short notice. We highly recommend Man of millennium to anyone seeking an unforgettable travel experience in Mongolia.

What an adventure and eye opening experience it has been! Thanks heaps to Unna who has been super responsive and professional; helped us crafted this unforgettable trip to Mongolia.
Unna (women of all trades: owner, planner, guide, translator, chef) and Mongo (driver) were both amazing! We couldn't have asked for more. They have made this trip extraordinary. They were genuinely delightful companions so much so we became good friends - we missed them already!
Highly recommend Man of Millennium Tour if you are looking to see the real Mongolia, experience the simple yet authentic nomadic lifestyle and explore the fascinating yet surreal Gobi Desert.

Our Gobi Desert tour was incredible, surpassing our expectations. In addition to the amazing, endless vistas of southern Mongolia, we really enjoyed the company of our guide (Lilo) and driver (Mandaa). They were fun, flexible, and accommodating throughout. Lilo’s cheerfulness and earnestness in sharing her culture with us was endearing, and the meals she prepared were superior the food we ate in restaurants. She also sings beautifully. And Mandaa’s skill behind the wheel saw us safely through the treacherous unpaved roads of the Mongolian wilds. I will book a tour through this company again on my next trip. Thank you Man of Millennium (especially Lilo and Mandaa) for an unforgettable experience!

If you considering going to Mongolia by a tour, my only advise is, choose Man of Millennium Tours. We traveled 11 days in mid Mongolia with Uuna (guide) and Bagi (driver). Before the trip, Uuna gave us very fast and correct answers on all our questions. They had the best price and organized our tour perfect. During the tour, Bagi was super excellent driver (and even some times chef), Uuna the perfect match of a guide. We have traveled a lot (85), and this is our best experience of a tour company. We loved Mongolia and Man of Millenium!

Highly recommended. Friendly guides with very interesting packages (I chose then 5 days central Mongolia tour) which could be tailor made and/or quite flexible. Amazing experience and perfectly organised.
